Re: Re: Transferring Timeshare to a family member

[Q=anno106] My mother wants to transfer me her timeshare in NC. I am reading that I need an attorney or a real estate broker to "close " it. Is that correct or can I just file a Quit Claim Deed?[/Q] First of all, do you really want this timeshare? Make sure you know all the ins and outs, ups and downs, pros and cons of owning a timeshare. If so, then you can use a low-cost service such as Legal Timeshare Transfers. If, after all things considered, you decide that taking over ownership is not for you, then follow the oft-mentioned suggestions on how to get rid of a timeshare.
