Re: Re: Continiuum travel agency scam beware

[Q=gidgetm10] They have now threatened it will cost more to to get out of this mess to have our fund returned. If anyone knows who can represent the senior consumer and retract funds I would be so grateful. All we have now is Karma.[/Q] Don't shoot the messenger, but funds that you have paid to these parasites will not be "returned" in any scenario. That said, I respectfully suggest that you pay no attention to any more lies, empty threats or requests for more money. All that can happen (besides the unfortunate loss of whatever money you have paid so far) is that your "relationship" with these thieving parasites will cease; that's actually a good thing. The sooner you cut all ties with these parasites, the sooner you will stop losing money. The unpleasant truth is that they are not going to do anything except continue to seek to extract more and more money from you until you just stop sending any more money to them. If you believe that there was fraud involved in this matter, you can (and should) initiate formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General's office of the state in which you conducted this transaction, but understand clearly that regretting unwise financial decisions is not a sufficient legal basis on which to successfully elicit government or law enforcement intervention, unless there was fraud involved.
