Most won't even take a deed back for FREE and fees of any kind previously paid are never refundable. You were obviously an unhappy camper, but the "plus" side here is that they actually assisted you in getting out at all, albeit at a loss. Most companies won't do even that much. You're luckier than you may actually realize...
