Heartbleed Bug: What you need to know

On April 7, 2014, a new Internet vulnerability was disclosed concerning the OpenSSL cryptographic library (CVE-2014-0160), which is widely used to verify site identities and protect communications. You can read more about the issue here: http://heartbleed.com/ Following recommended procedures, we have patched all affected RedWeek.com systems and have reissued our SSL certificates (you can verify we are no longer vulnerable at https://filippo.io/Heartbleed/). It's very unlikely RedWeek.com was targeted through this bug, but to be conservative, we do suggest that you change your password (especially if you use the same password on different sites, which is never recommended). Change your password: http://www.redweek.com/account/change_password To read more about other sites that may be affected, and their recommendations, please see: http://mashable.com/2014/04/09/heartbleed-bug-websites-affected/ For recommendations on the selection of passwords, see: http://bit.ly/1pBkGs8 Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
