I'll also add that such lawsuits can be drawn-out. One big problem you would have if you try to pursue this is that you have to prove what the sales person said to you. It will come down to a matter of He said, She said. That's one big reason why people sign contracts, in case there is a discrepancy or misunderstanding between what was said and what the buyer might have heard. Even if you do win, after attorneys' fees, there will be little left for you. Just read what happened with the lawsuit against RCI about seven years ago.
