Need help?

First of all, what is FF and where is the timeshare located? Is it deeded or is it Right-to-Use? If you want to give back the timeshare, you have to contact the resort's Homeowners' Association, preferably in writing. Mention your situation. Mention that, in no uncertain terms, you are not going to pay another penny in maintenance fees so it would be in everybody's best interests to take your unit back amicably. The HOA might require you pay closing costs and perhaps even the next maintenance fee. But then, hey, that's the price to give back. It will work out to a lot cheaper than these firms that claim they can help you "exit" or "cancel" your timeshare. If it is paid off, you can also try to give it away. Advertise it for giveaway here on RedWeek. You can also try E-Bay, Craigslist, My Resort Network, or Timeshare Users Group (aka "TUG") where you can advertise for free that you want to give away your unit.
