I would not have bought if I had known this.[/Q] What likely went wrong was that the timeshare salespeople told you a bunch of lies and half-truths to get you to buy. Timeshare sales people are notorious for this. It's almost on a monthly basis that owners come on these boards complaining that what they bought was not what the sales people told them they were buying. It's a sad reality in the timeshare industry.
