Depending on the unit (we have an assigned unit) and the foliage growth (recent storms or trimming) then the view is more or less straight through to the ocean. Virgin Grand units are up on the hill and largely have ocean view due to the elevation but the trees (filled with iguanas!) can make it somewhat obstructed. (by Shannon H.):
