I'm thinking of buying with Shell Vacations Club, and you gain their elite status when you own over 15,000 points. If I buy 2000 points from them today and then buy 13,000 points from a private seller (resale), will I still gain that elite status? Basically, do my points add together even though I will have 2 separate deeds to 2 separate properties but through the same company.
