Villas at Regal Palms - resort review
I'm a timehsare owner at Villas at Regal palms in davenport, florida. We just used our first week.
Grounds are beautiful! Well maintained. nicely landscaped
THE GOOD:
Our unit is the Monarch, 4 bdrm 3 1/2 baths!! Upstaris/downstairs, two balconies.
Smelled like it was freshly painted.
Had ample kitchen supplies for "quick eats"
Had ample supply of washcloths and bathtowles for 7 people
nicely decorated
had small supply of dishwashing powder
roomy enough for 7 people and not feel like we were on top of eachother
THE BAD:
whirlpool had to be run several times before some muckie stuff dissappeared
hardwood stairs had some dust on them
two patios and no furniture for them??
have to be 21 to enter the excersice room, so our 13 yr olds could not do their work out
pool closes at 8pm and they adamantely kick you out - this is a major bummer, since we spend all day at the parks and could not wind down at the pool for a little while once we got back (we were first told it closes at 8 because it is a law - NOT then we were told is due to lack of lighting - OK PUT MORE LIGHTS IN THEN!
concigere gave us HORRIBLE informaion on park tickets and tickets there are more expensive than the disney site
All and all it was an enjoyable stay, but if this is supposed to be considred a 5 star resort, they should accomodate better.
