Hyatt Vacation Club At Coconut Cove

What are the plans for resort to open...

What are the plans for resort to open and what is being done for those owners who could or cannot use their weeks because of virus and government mandated public health emergency?

The resort is open and checking in reservations. We were told(less than a week from going-April26) that only pools and lazy river open for amenities. When we got here only pools were open- t hey had just closed lazy river. A lot of good it did to check ahead! We would have been happy with the pool & lazy river but pool only- might have cancelled... Apparently with low occupancy they decide by the day what they do, which they aren't offering much to begin with.

You can bet these places will adhere to the most severe interpretation of the "mandates", you will basically have to hide in your room. And don't count on Hyatt playing ball and being fair, expect lots of fees.

I am happy to know that there are a lot of services that have already started to be opened. And we can relax at resorts and spa complexes. But we should not forget about the need to follow all the rules. Wear masks and keep the distance.

Masks = no vacation. Simple at that. That's no vacation. I am done.
