Any Marriott restrictions if you buy timeshare on RedWeek?

anyone aware if Marriott places restrictions on your week if bought on Redweek and not from them directly...ie, can I add it to my current ownership package, can you convert a week into points like I currently can for weeks bought directly from them? Thanks John P (current Marriott timeshare owner both weeks and points)
