purchasing first resale timeshare need assistance please

Hello, long time lurker and first time poster. This forum is a treasure trove of information and thanks to everyone here for sharing information and keeping new folk educated!

So I'm closing in on my first timeshare purchase ever and was hoping to get some clarity/information on the terms of usage. Can someone please explain to me what the following two mean? This is for WKOVR.

Week 45 Float Week Platinum Season Weeks 1-52

Samuel: If the owner has a resale posted as week 45, then they own that same week every year. You can view our timeshare week calendar on this page: Timeshare Calendar

If another owner has posted a floating week, and has indicated their ownership includes the ability to reserve weeks 1 -52, then you would contact the resort each year to reserve the week you want. Your reservation request would be subject to availability.
