I had a rental cancelled because of Ian- Redweek refunded their rental fee, I lost the money AND the points! How is that right??

I had a renter lined up for October 13-18, hurricane Ian came, resort closed, renter got his money back, I lost both the points AND the rental income! How is that fair/right? Anyone else have similar problem?
