that is what make diamond resorts points mostly worthless to the average person especially someone not up to speed with all of diamonds little policies on points. By and large they are only good at the resort the points are related and the couple of other resort in that club. Main reason i NEVER bought diamond resale or through developer.. that is another money pit.
