In May 2023, the Royal Resorts in Cancun, Mexico announced they had been bought by Holiday Inn. It was a surprise especially since recently they they started a Signature Club relationship with Wyndham. I can see this as an opportunity for Holiday Inn expending in Mexico into the timeshare industry and selecting a Resort group that has already established a high reputation for service and quality. I just hope they start expending opportunities with high end resorts around the world and not just expand for the purpose of expansion alone, and bring the quality down. Your thought?
