I'm new to RedWeek, how do I rent my timeshare?

Welcome! Renting is easy - just make a reservation with your resort, then post that week for rent! Our full-service process makes it easy - all rentals now come with online booking feature custom-built for timeshare owners, so you don't have to worry about a thing.

How should I price my timeshare for rent?

We suggest looking at how the resort and other owners are pricing similar offerings, and deciding what you are comfortable with. You can see historic rentals at your property with our "What's My Timeshare Worth" tool. Our rental team is available to help with pricing guidance along the way.

How do I take payment from my renter?

With RedWeek's online booking, now available on all rentals, we handle the payment entirely for you! Your renter pays us before you even finalize the booking, and you get paid automatically two business days after they check-in.

Do I need my own rental contract?

No! All rentals now come with online booking and we build the rental agreement for you, so it's completely painless. Your renter will agree to the terms online with their payment before we pass to you for approval.

Do I need to collect taxes?

As a marketplace facilitator, we are required to collect and remit certain taxes (such as state and local sales or lodging taxes) on applicable bookings, depending on the location. These taxes are included in the total price the renter sees during checkout.

However, there may be other tax obligations that apply to the owner depending on the specific situation - for example, income taxes for owners or other local requirements. We recommend consulting a tax professional for advice tailored to your circumstances, as we’re not able to provide individual tax guidance.

What if I don't have a reservation yet?

You will need a confirmed reservation before you post your rental. If you are a Wyndham owner, you can sign up for our RedWeek Connect program to rent without a reservation, just proceed with your rental above and you will be prompted to sign up for the program.

How much does it cost?

Rental postings are just $59.99, plus a $99 fee that you only pay when you get a successful rental payout with online booking. A RedWeek membership ($18.99 for a full year) is required.
