The OP was paying for an Explorer type package for a one time purchase of points and then would have to come back after trying the points for another (high pressure) timeshare. It sounds like someone is trying to sell you a resale TS over the phone. There would be annual MF's. Unless you are really familiar with the ins and outs of a system, I wouldn't recommend buying.
