in my experience, the answer is yes. The resort staff are very friendly and are unlikely to give you hard time over this. We used to stay in rooms rated for up to 4 with our family of 5 when the kids were little. I would bring an inflatable mattress of have the youngest sleep with us in the king size bed. (by Tania W.):
