How does Redweek Exchange work?

RedWeek has not had an exchange system for about 15 years now. Any and all old posts and information found in these forums about exchanges involving RedWeek in ANY way are obsolete, ancient history.

You would need to look into the operational details and procedures and membership requirements of actual exchange companies (RCI, Interval International, TPI, 7across, etc.). In order to use RCI or II, you must have a paid membership with the exchange company and your resort must be affiliated with one or the other (or both) of those exchange companies. RedWeek is of no use to you (or to anyone else) for the purpose of "exchanging" --- RedWeek long ago got completely out of the "exchange game".

Fyi, if your resort is affiliated with Interval Intl, one II "benefit" is the option to "search first" (i.e., before depositing a week). RCI has no such option; RCI requires a deposit to be made first in order to "search" at all. Also, although RCI has lots more affiliated resorts than Interval, Interval affiliated resorts tend to be of higher quality than RCI. I hope that some of this info helps you. Good luck.
