How would we request a certain room. Does the owner that we’re renting from do that, or can we communicate directly with the resort?

I would call the resort directly 2 weeks before and place my request such as pool view or park view, ground floor, etc. Many families like the ground floor pool view because of the convenience. We have always been able to see the ocean with a resort view but oceanfront is specific and you are directly in front and pay more. (by Bonnie L.):
