Which "account has a zero balance and has been closed"? Your credit card account or your contract with the timeshare? If it's your credit card, that doesn't necessarily meant that your purchase of the timeshare has been rescinded. It just means that the timeshare company can't charge your credit card. The timeshare company can still claim that you owe money for the timeshare purchase and then send collections after you.
Or did you receive a letter from the timeshare company confirming that your purchase has been rescinded?
