Bear in mind that RedWeek was acquired by a (much bigger) company called Arrivia in September, 2022. It is really no surprise that the former RedWeek model has changed since then to a much more corporate / profit driven m.o. Also perhaps relevant is the fact that as of January, 2025, Arrivia itself is now owned by "a consortium of international investors". The bottom line is that smaller and more affordable and more member-friendly RedWeek of yesteryear is now simply gone forever, like it or not.
