Unlike places like Orlando or Vegas, there is not a overabundance of timeshares on Cape Cod. My guess is the RedWeek point value of an off season Cape Cod week is so low that owners may not want to deposit their week into the system.

While it's too late now, but next time you might want to rent out your Aruba week, then just rent an off-season Cap Cod week. You can probably get a 2 BR from RCI or II for less than $400 per week.
