Please report upfront fee scammers to Attorney General ..... there's power in numbers (by Susie H.):

After reading this, I called Creative Vacation Solutions and confronted them. Interesting, I could hear someone else on another phone in the background trying to calm down an irrate customer. I told the girl about the indictment and what kind of company she was working for. After I finished, she said that this whole thing had been dismissed and that they have not been in business for 14 years for nothing. If this was all true, they would be out of business. Frankly, they need to be out of business! On Dec. 19th I received a called from CVS saying my timeshare had sold and it looked like everything was going to go through. I was told to call back on Jan. 19th. I called today to ask about that sale and requested something to be faxed to me to show that there was a sale. After pulling my file, I was told that the buyers did not qualify and that they would continue "advertising" my timeshare. This is a joke! They will indefinitely "advertise". I am really hoping that the indictment is real and that the Attorney General will shut this company down and get everyone's money back. Lesson learned! No one should EVER give upfront money to these companies - EVER and maybe then there will be actual sales of people's timeshares and the fees will be taken out of the proceeds.
