DFAC can not give you a usable appraisal for a donated timeshare. If you want a usable one, it has to be done by an IRS-licensed appraiser. That appraisal will cost you at least $300.

As for you question about DFAC's legitimacy, they are legit but they will charge you a hefty fee (at least $2500) to take your timeshare off your hands and they will only do that if they feel they can quickly turn around and sell or give away that timeshare.

Again, my recommendation would be to try to give it away yourself for far less expense.
