It sounds like the same offer I and some others received from Land'Or - pay your maintenance fees at the current rate for the remaining weeks left on your contract and then they say no more fees. That might be feasible if you only have 2 years left (but not so if your contract extends for 30 more years and not sensible if you have a long time left not knowing if Land'Or will be around another 30 years).
