After attempting t0 deal with all of those phoney salesmen I found a family that was about to retire from the insurance business and wanted to do some traveling. I sold him and his family the 3 bedroom at Surrey, branson. the maintence fee of $850; would be due in december and would receive 244,000 points as a result of the purchase. the total price that included transfer costs was $1,000. I must have received a dozen phone calls that had up front prices from $750 to $4,990. All of the agents attempted to tell me how much the transfer costs, and escrows, etc. Wow, what a bunch of crooks in the business. there are legit transfer agents and I use theone in Bransons. so suggest to advertise locally to families that may reture soon and offer at rock bottom price. by the way, I paid $15,500 for the 3 bedroom unit 10 years ago, however,we have enjoyed taking the family there and having separate bedrooms
