It's illegal for them to take a commission because you have to be a licensed real estate broker to collect a commission and they are not real estate brokers.

By the way, a deeded timeshare interval is true real estate and is subject to the same real estate laws as a regular house or condo is.

Actually, it's not illegal for timeshare brokers such as www.timesharebrokersmls.com/ to take a commission after a sale .... what is illegal is for timeshare resale companies to take an upfront fee.
