Re: Manhattan Club Lawsuit (by Brian H.):

I would be happy to see the AG get an order to unwind the Manhattan Club Sales. Give me my purchase price back and allow me to walk away from this mess. This may be unrealistic as the pockets may not be deep enough.

I would also be happy if we could get an independent board and kick out the management company. Some people say the devil you know if better than the one you do not know. I do not believe this is the case. The devil we are dealing with has no morals, openly lies to the owners, has no interest in protecting the owners, and only cares about maximizing there own return.

If you are not able to get any reservations, I agree you should not pay maintenance fees. Aside from a potential impact on your credit (which should be easy to clean up), I see no downside. Why pay for something you cannot use and has no value.

If you are making reservations and want to continue making reservations, you need to keep paying. While this means you are covering fees for those not paying, the positive aspect is availability to get a reservation is to much better based on those not paying and the pressure the AG has put on MC concerning rentals. Just do not pay early as the AG may be able to force them to escrow the fees which means they would only be able to pay legitimate expenses, like taxes, not car repairs.
