It would be unwise of the timeshare not to take it back if it's fully paid for. Why wouldn't they, when they can resell it?
If the timeshare itself is not paid for, even if your maintenance & "special fees" are up to date- does anybody know if they would allow you to deed it back? I'm not convinced they would, no matter how much you plead or threaten.
