External point packages are not counted toward your VIP total. If you already have points plus partners with a Wyndham account, the new points would also be eligible. If you do not currently have plus partners you would have to make a direct purchase from Wyndham or pay $2000 to enroll. Without plus partners you would only be eligible to exchange through RCI weeks programs for a full week. You could use your Wyndham points for less than a week although there are restrictions on when you could use a single night. The number of points you own also determines how many housekeeping credits and transaction credits you get. If you are making multiple short stays you will need to pay to purchase additional HK credits and for additional transactions. You can combine your points into a single account. This will determine how MF is calculated. Currently your resale points would have the same perks that you are eligible for with you developer points. So if you have enough developer points to be gold you would get gold perks when using your resale points. Wyndham has been threatening that this will change for the last few years and the latest date they are saying for the rollout is May. Who knows. You can own through a LLC although there would be additional costs to set up and maintain the LLC. You probably would still be limited with the number of actual principals you could put on the account and making reservations for others would still require guest certificates which Wyndham charges $100 for each reservation.
