Anyone who believes that buying a timeshare to use as an investment rental is being foolish . It's a luxury vacation sometime in the future. Yes you can rent it out to mitigate your loss but not for the purpose of making a profit. I agree that if you found out that you made a bad purchase you should minimize your loss but never purchase with the intent to rent for profit .
