Krystal is a big Fraud!!

Hello all,

I bought a package back in July and paid $6,000 down and am making $149 monthly payment to Krystal, I also paid Latitude 21 Rentals $700 then $1,100 in October they said they would advertise my rental and take care of everything I would just get a deposit every time it was rented out. I have yet to see anything. I have tried calling them and have had no luck. All of the phone numbers are disconnected. I am beyond livid at this point. Can we get help to take this organization down. Does anyone have any ideas? PLEASE HELP

We have the exact same story from 2 years ago. Need to find someone that knows how to start a class action suit and can an agressive news reporter that will expose this scam. Latitude will never do anything. It's a game company associated with Krystal. Stop paying latitude.

Has anyone made any progress with the class action lawsuit? I might want to join too.

I want to be part of a class action suit but don't know how to go about getting one started. Anybody else know how? Would be very interested in participating. these people need to be stopped and they keep doing it to everybody year after year it's terrible.

I paid for three years - about $450 a month - and then stopped from January of this year. After numerous calls from them, they have handed this over to their US Collection agency - Resort Recovery Solutions, LLC., based in San Diego is now following up with threatening calls and emails. I told them to go ahead and sell my weeks to pay off. They say they cannot do that and now they threaten to report this to Transunion.

Anyone have any experience in dealing with Resort Recovery Solutions? Should we all engage a lawyer? Or report this scam / fraud to FBI and/or speak with a Federal Prosecutor, etc.

You can tell the collection agency to stop calling you and if they contact you after you tell them to stop you can sue them and collect thousands of dollars from them . Tell them to leave you alone . Most collection agencies just threaten people . They have to obtain a judgement to put anything negative about you on the credit bureaus . You have the right to dispute anything on your credit report and the credit agencies have been sympathetic to the consumer . I would tell them to pound salt .

NEVER contact anyone outside the forum that claims they have a group that meets privately . SCAMMERS want to lure their victims out of the public forum where they set their trap . This Poala has been in the forum numerous times trying to run his SCAM . Looks like he's using an alias of John H.

Yes! This has been going on for years and who knows how many thousands of people have been affected. I don't know how to proceed but would be willing to contribute to any action against them with law enforcement, news exposure and/or class action suit. I have received letters and phone calls from the San Diego recovery company and when I asked them in writing to provide proof of the validity if the charge I don't hear anything back. It has been about 3-4 months since I sent the letter. There is specific language you should use. Just Google a template. If shine knows how to proceed with group action, please let me know. These crooks should be stopped!

My husband and I are real victims of this ongoing scam. We are very interested in participating in a class action suit but have no idea how to go forward with that. We are in the US

If you don't have any maintenance fees owing on it, you can try to rent it out. Mind you, there is a glut on the market for Mexican rentals so it might be a challenge to find a renter and, on top of that, rent it out at a price that will cover your maintenance fees.

If you like vacationing but do not want to visit Krystal Latitude 21, you can try exchanging with one of the exchange companies.

As for a class action lawsuit, you might want to be careful on this one. First of all, there are many unscrupulous law firms trolling boards like these and trying to lure people like you to their firms. Unfortunately, they don't accomplish much other than get your hopes up and then waste a lot of your time. I have heard of very few successful class action suits against timeshare resorts and companies where the plaintiffs (various owners) received a significant settlement.

hi everyboy, i´m Héctor, From Colombia. I did fall in this scam too. In my case, they took me on the Cancun´s airport. I went to the appointment without knowing what will i be involved in... it was on June. At this time i have already payd more than USD 4300 the best of this is that i didn´t have any money... all was from my credit cards... They told that the time share would be renthed for january and i would receive more than USD 2000 for the rent, if i chose the professional membership... and nothing has happened and in my case, i took this because of an investment... instead of that, i´m owing to the banks here in Colombia up to my pants... There is a guy who says that he could cancel the time share in 45 days... I don´t really know if that is true. His name is Manuel, i have written several mails to him, i don´t want to be scammed again.
