Unlike some, I am brand new with timeshare purchase and wishes to rescind. Unfortunately I am beyond my cancellation period. Has anyone or does anyone know of anyone that was successful cancelling they're contract after rescission period using one of the "cancellation companies"

Also has anyone or does anyone know of anyone that had a positive experience with Latitude 21? (Besides the liar from a few days ago)

I asked L21 for some historic rental percentages related to Krystal and was given 5 reasons why they couldn't share that info...if they're service was even close to what they say it is, it would be one of the first things they'd be bragging about.

Seems like the investment side is a layered scam. Now I'm seeing people can't even get weeks they rightfully paid for...WTF!

These "cancellation companies" are not recommended. Most are scams. Others will charge a large, upfront fee to do something you can do yourself. Since what you likely own is just a membership or Right-to-Use instead of deeded property, you can usually terminate the contract by stopping paying. You might face a bunch of hounding collection calls and letters but those usually stop after a while.

I've also paid in full, obviously now that we are reading everything, we realize that our weeks will never be sold. We were told that these are sold at a rate of 99%. We're out around $17,000. Now I'm waiting for Eskapebykrystal travel plan to email and they'll want another $900....Obviously, they aren't getting that thanks to this page. We just bought this program in April...any legit advice on what to do.

One possibility is to just stop paying your maintenance fees or annual dues. You might face a bunch of collection calls and letters but those usually stop after a while.

The other possibility is to try to sell or give away your membership or unit. You can try advertising that in RedWeek's Bargain Basement section. However, there is no need to contact any of these companies that claim they can cancel your timeshare.

Hey any update or info on latitudes 21. They called me to sign up for the professional pkg $1795 +tax=$2082. I have 10 wks to rent with sunset world timeshare. Please advise if its a scam or if you got paid .
