I got an email a few days ago from RCI saying that that they were returning the weeks that I banked with them to Club Landor at my request. I didn't make the request so i called both companies to investigate. The person that I talked to at Club Landor said that RCI was not banking their weeks anymore until they did some repairs.

I also got another request asking for another special assessment of $499 a few weeks ago. Seems to me like that is some kind of breach of contract because that is one of the main things that they pushed to me when i bought was the fact that you could participate in the RCI program and bank weeks. Please add me to any list or communications in regards to getting justice out of these guys. I paid $3000 in fees to them last year and they have already asked for close to $600 so far this year! When is enough enough?

Hi TB, Tom Syl, Cheryl and other new posters. Christine can help you join in a group with the same issues as you. There is a screening process. You are not alone. See Christine's post on page 23. I went to court with her and clo offered her a settlement, so no public court record. Also look back to the Oct - Nov posts. You cannot find a court record and likely others because people either do not show up or they settle out of court. If someone has a warrant in debt and you know there name or it might have been there docket number you can find them before the court date. If you live near the Henrico court house stop by on a Monday or Tuesday morning and look at the docket or go to the clerk's office to ask about the next Club Land'or docket dates. It is a confusing process. Club Land'or and Land'or Williamsburg/Colonial Crossing are both connected to the Parent Company Land'or International. The numbers are growing as is information and knowledge. We are looking and exploring, helping each other. . If you have an upcoming court date I will come and others will to so a voice and record can begin. The court process looks to be 2 steps so be prepared to go again. The clerk of the court can explain this. There is no class action suit for Club Land'or that I know of. If you find out there is,please post it. Colonial Crossing is a different story. Again Contact Christine if you are interested in the private FB group- you cannot get on the site until you are screened, approved and added .

TB- you can still testify about what your experience was like and also have your friend(s) etc testify, is how I understand the system works but check for yourself as I am not an attorney, not giving legal advise but have been studying this for a number of months. You have valuable information that is relatively recent. If you live in VA or nearby, even better. E-mail Christine and go from there. Go back and read at least the last 5-6 pages or when Christine started with her posts. She is still helping even though she out of that contract. Good luck, what ever route you choose.

One thing not mentioned in Billb352's last message is the method of ownership. It is one thing to vote to assess yourself and make your own business decisions to protect something you own. It is another thing for the management of a rental unit to charge whatever he wants to make up for poor business decisions he made. Ever wonder where all of our rent went?

Look, go way back and you will see that I got out too. Quit paying and go to court. Everyone I know that went git out. the only garnishments, default judgements, etc. I saw was ahem people didn't show up. They cannot hurt your credit unless they get a default judgement in court, etc. They will bully and harass the heck out of you though. The last time I ever had a call from them I told them I would sue for harassment as they called my job. Anyhow, the price to buy CLOSING has gone down from $45mil to $39.9.. I did not go in to read the terms of the sale yet to see if it says what happens to members. Also, they continue to have major financial problems with employees and Nassau Guardian, the newspaper, says phones to administrators have been turned off and they are unreachable.

My phone wrote closing instead of CLO, Club Land'Or as intended. Anyhow, I wad looking at it on a real estate site but have not had time to read what it says. Only saw price reduction. Will look further.
