I am new at renting out my timeshare week. I posted an early week in October (three months ahead) and it rented within a week for my listing price. I am thrilled! Hindsight: My posting was the lowest price listing for that week ($2,500 compared to $2,650). I might have been able to list a higher price but it did rent. I cannot expect to get anything better than renting out my week for the price I asked for. This definitely covers my costs (maintenance fees, RedWeek membership, and the "full service listing" fee) and then some. I have since reserved and posted another week to rent. I own at Marriott's Newport Coast Villas in California. Furthermore, I had this same week listed with another service (a broker in Florida). I heard nothing for over eight months. I removed my week from their service and posted in here on RedWeek and had it rented very soon after. I am now a firm believer in RedWeek!

Did you & the renter both have to pay a full service fee if redweek handled it? When you are a renter looking, the price you are asking is not what the renter has to pay. They are also paying $300 to redweek. Some owners did not realize this.

Has anyone rented their Hyatt high Sierra lodge out successfully?
