Can't even give them one star
am also fighting charges and overpayment of charges. now in to collections Denial I owe. Only a garnisment can occur with a judgement is how I understand this. Also would be false to sent to the credit companies with out prove as in a judgement also. That is what I understand. Current rate of legal interest in Henrico count is 6% from any date of judgement. Check your self to be sure I am understanding this correctly. The Clerks are friendly and helpful at explaining.
Did you have any luck for the torusism angle? Are you still fighting or have you been taken to court. Post her or you can seen to kltrink@comcast.net. Also not posted about the FB group formed. After screening you can see and comment and add on info collected- discovery process. Hope to here from you.

these people flat out lied to us,, we went to there little staging set up & liked what we saw, however was not in a position to buy anything, since my husband had been laid off from work due to a seizure & could not return until march of this year, if he could find work @ that time. They told us that if we paid the down payment & found that he could, not go,back to work that we could cancel the contract & use what we had paid for a vacation. However when I called them to tell them this they told me to put it in writing so I did & now they are harrassing us for payment. & told us that we can not cancel as we signed a contract & they have no control over what we are told at the meetings. I am so pissed that this company feels they can do whatever they want to people. I am willing to do what ever it takes...these people are the devil. I live in Virginia

After trying to sell this timeshare, trying to give it away, donated it, Club Land' Or seemed to block us. We put the timeshare on "sell your timeshare" after 2 yrs we finally had a buyer, we sold this timeshare for a 1.00, paid the transfer fees of 970.00(round about that) and finally got our release papers last week. This little lesson cost us a lot of out of pocket money, but it's over, I will never attend a timeshare promotion again. We didnt do anything different from what the people on this website has already done, we just got lucky. Good luck to everyone and I hope things work out.

Hi, i am on the final stages of paying mine off. i will be finished by September 2012. Iam up to date with maintenance etc. i am so ready to sell it as well or give it away....lol. how were you ble to weed through the BS people/con artist or scam artist to finally picking that person that was legitimate? Any info you can offer will be useful. Thanks.
Denise P.
Like I said we sold it through "sell your timeshare, which cost us 500.00 and two years, didn't have a lot of offers so the con artist were not interested. Landor did their credit check, so it had to be approved by landor. Believe me we didn't get excited until it was over and that whole dollar was in our hand. My husband said not to worry about the dollar, I said we want the dollar just to show the transaction was complete, I didnt want anything to go wrong. It might take awhile but I hope it works out for you.

Be careful using any timeshare resellers, especially if they want money up front. Most are scams. There was a program on Nightline by Cynthia McFadden that interviewed the owner of TUG regarding the timeshare reseller ripoffs. The person who posted here that they finally sold their timeshare was really fortunate - and as they said, it took them two years. Normally, you are required to pay all fees up-to-date before you will be allowed to sell. I know someone who tried to contribute their timeshare and the charity wouldn't accept it. Just a word of warning to hopefully prevent you from throwing good money after bad - you might want legal counsel before signing any more contracts. I'm with you though - would give mine away if I could! Good luck!

I am an owner at Colonial Crossing of Williamsburg and feel that I have ripped off for so many years now. I was one of the first owners and have received nothing for the money I have paid in monthly payments or maintenence fees. We never here from them except to send bills for fee and to remove payment for our monthy installments. We have been trying to get out of our contract and no one will even return our calls. Please help! Anyone

I agree! We have been owner for many years as well and are just plan fed up with them . We are looking for any information that will allow us to get out of the deal!. We never hear for them except to send us bill for payment and fees. We are up to date because we have heard that many people just let the payments go and they were unable to have any recource because of that. If you have any information please let me know.

Oh I agree, do your homework, don't throw money away. We did our homework. We paid 500.00 up front but thats it and we did continue to check on the listing and they kept it listed and kept us up to date if someone was inquiring about the listing. It did take 2 yrs, but you can talk them down in price before you list. I feel a load as been lifted off our shoulders. Face it LandOr has all their bases covered, you have to cover yours too.
