Kovay Gardens

Has anyone purchased from Vallart Gardens?

Sep 22, 2025

Hello

We purchased 70plus weeks in November 2022 from Vallarta Gardens (Koval Gardens) at 1.2 Km.Carr. Punta de Mita, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle Mexico 63732 .

They were using Concierge Club as their marketing company in 2022 and have moved onto another marketing company in 2025 to continue offering their services with the hope of marketing your weeks. (Not)

Our weeks are useless as they offered us use of a stufio unit only at some of their sister marketing resorts such as Mio Hotel, Hotel Matlali, Holiday Inn in Puerto Vallarta and Occidental.

We wrote a letter by email to Profeco ( Mexico Consumer Relations) extranjeros@profeco.gob.mx and had a time snd date online meeting in June 2025 and the owners was a no show.

Profeco lawyer has contacted me by email and would appreciate any assistance from those out there who know who the owner is and the new legal business address of the marketing company TTR GO, S.A DE C.V. located at Paseo De Los Cocoteros #55, Nuevo Vallarta, Bahia De Banderas Nayarit 67735 Mexico

It appears that I have become another victim of a bait and switch timeshare sale and was told by Claudia F. that Vallata Gardens ( Koval Gardens) resort is sold out and cannot use the resort for my timeshare weeks purchased.

Buyer Beware

Yours truly

Please include us in your class action suit. Mitch and Angie Doyle. I told this story to friends and they said to file a police report. Report this as a ponze scam. I you paid with a credit card report it to the credit card company as fraud. you might get some of your money back.

Hi Kathleen, how did your lawsuit go? It looks like we will not be getting our deposits or money back since it's been over a year since we signed with them. We're waiting on a payment that I now know will never come.

I have contacted a legal firm in Mexico and I'm scheduled for an interview tomorrow. My plan is to file a class action lawsuit against Vallarta Gardens, mainly concerning their marketing Group scam to by my other timeshares.

Just recently my husband and I purchased - like all of you thinking it was a good investment, that once we got the money from the Time Share they were buying from us, that it would be mostly paid for and then once we got the money from our rented out weeks for this year and next we would be in great shape. We put down a large down payment in Oct 2025 and now they are starting to come to us for the rest of the purchase money. But now after reading all your reviews, I'm scared that we too may have been scammed. Kovay Vacation Residence Club and Pacifica Estate Management are the two companies we signed up with - Are we truly being scammed and I should refuse to send them anymore money ??? Can I please get some advise here???

What has happened since? We put quit a large down payment done for the Purchase of Kovay fractional ownership and now they are looking for payment to complete the purchase and I am scared we have been scammed reading all these reviews - Any suggestions??

If you've read all the reviews, the answer is obvious: yes, you have been scammed. We were one of the lucky ones (legally voided the contract within the time frame required by Mexican law, and even then they fought it for months) - I've yet to see any evidence in the years since that there is any other effective remedy.

There has been talk of lawsuits (class action and otherwise), appeal to Profeco, appeal to credit card companies, etc. Maybe the credit card company is a possibility, YMMV. The one thing to be very careful about is anybody who wants money from you upfront - likely just another variation on the original scam.

Yes, purchased in Feb 2023 and same story as everyone-delay for Mex tax relief, time of ownership. Even went to Gardens last year and discussed?? Was told in e-mail, finally that full amount owed to me was wired, even had routing?#. Never happened and they won’t answer a-mail or phone. Careful seems next wave scam is to help you out of first scam. Company called ARISTA has found buyer for my fracture and connected me with Title Co to handle. All I need to do is put $5000 in escrow?? And recover all. Sounds good but it is getting a little shady. Any one had similar experience?

Don't do it. It is all a massive con, and they'll keep playing it on you as long as you put money up front. It's gone, just move on.

Good to know there's a Facebook group - might there be a groupchat or something for those of not on Facebook? Especially for those of us who have been to the property in the last 90 days - if there's info we can share with you all (and i have something specific to share re: contacts) + wondering if we can get on the class action lawsuit.

Can be reached at felipe.leland855@barbarbu.fr

Also now going by Selvare Vacation Club.

We are still here in Mexico within the five day rescission period of our contract. We Did not purchase with the expectation of getting our current timeshares re-purchased or getting any rental money from the weeks we do not use. Our only concern is whether we will be able to actually use the weeks we purchased and be able to come back next January. Can someone respond as to whether they have been able to simply make reservations every year and stay at Kobe Gardens

I did see one person post that they could not even come back to Vallarta Gardens to use any of their purchased units. When it is so clear this organization is defrauding so many people, you have your answer already. Don't buy. I was there having signed the contract when I found this Red Week thread alerting me to my massive mistake. We had been upgraded on our all-inclusive meals and drink plan for buying. Started eating surf and turf nightly instead of saying anything while we were still there. Rescinded with copies to Profeco the minute I got home, still within the 5-business day window. My fear of rescinding while still on property was that they would evict me to prevent my sharing what I'd learned with any other potential suckers, I mean buyers. Sorry.

I wanted to follow up on the post that I sent a week ago. When we tried to cancel in person, the salesman offered to book us a reservation at the resort one year in advance to prove that they were reputable. He called the manager into the room, and the manager quickly answered that it was not possible to book one year in advance. So their scam was exposed while we were in their presence. This also explains why the offers that they were making required us to surrender our first year of usage, you won’t find out that you cannot reserve there until you have been an owner for a year and your money is gone. Evidently, they offer to put you up at other hotels. I am sure that the only people that we’re staying at that resort while we were there Wear guess who had paid outrageous prices on Expedia and other vacation websites I am sure that no one who is an actual owner was at that resort. They have got this scam down to perfection.

Yes , same promises as everyone on here has stated. Hector "the protector" also sold us on Kovay Gardens. How do I reach the law firm in Mexico to join the class action lawsuit? A supposed lawyer called me Tuesday Jan.27th 2026 to tell me about a class action lawsuit that is started against this company and said he would email me a form to fill out and would also call me on Wednesday Jan.28th 2026 b ut he didn't call back or email me a form. The phone number he gave me doesn't work when I try to call him back. Could be another scam! I don't know how this 'lawyer' got my phone number either. I would love to join a class action lawsuit against this company!!!

After having observed this message thread for years, there is no magic bullet, no class action lawsuit that is going to get your money back. And, as the previous post suggests, it may well be just another variation on the grifter theme of getting you to chase after bad money with yet more money.

Hi, just wondering if you're still going through with the lawsuit on this company? No one seems to be holding them accountable for all the lies and scamming they are doing.
