Timeshare Cure

Group Wise is legit. I transferred 2 timeshares with them about 3 years ago. It cost me about $3300 for the 2, but I am free of them and their yearly maintenance fees.

Load of BS alert !!! .... What part of $3300 is just so much crap. Another attempt to undermine blogs that tell the truth about this crappy company and its con-game.

That's the thing with these Post Card Companies (PCCs). They charge you thousands of dollars to do what you can do yourself for a lot less.

Basically, you said to Group Wise, "I will pay you the equivalent of three years' maintenance fees so I won't have to pay the resort maintenance fees for the next three years."

Just get a legitimate, licensed attorney who specializes in timeshares. That is what I did. Avoid the scams.

is there really such a being called a "LEGITIMATE, LICENSED TIMESHARE/CONDOMINIUM ATTORNEY" who is truly legitimate, licensed, a specialist in timeshares/condominiums and an attorney all rolled into one? this being should also be FOR the PURCHASERS OF THE TIMESHARE, NOT THE SELLER. IF YOU FIND SUCH A CREATURE, PLEASE SEND ME HIS/HER NAME AND CONTACT AVAILABILITY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. DESPERATION IS SETTING IN!

Chris,

The answer is yes. My lawyer got me out of my timeshare quickly. E-mail me at jockwood@hotmail.com and I will give you my attorney's name and phone number. She did a great job for me, and others here.

I have been trying to get out of my timeshare forever. Please send me the email address of the lawyer that helped you and if I may, how much did it cost?

NEVER pay anyone money upfront to get you out of a timeshare. The new scam is phony attorneys and paralegals. They take your upfront money and claim they are working on your case and then disappear with your money.

Please e-mail me at jockwood@hotmail.com and I will be happy to supply you with my attorney's name. I am not going to share her name here because -- incredibly -- people who do not even know her are attacking her. I do not know why. Maybe they flunked out of law school!

I'll he happy to provide her contact information.

Probably because it's a phony attorney and they will scam you out of your money.

Don, Since you have been attacking my attorney (someone you have never met), she has gotten eight more referrals. And beyond what you see here, people who have had a successful result are referring people to her as well. Her success speaks for itself. Your unwarranted attacks are a waste of time.

Don's vocabulary is very limited. Or maybe he is tired of making attacks nobody is paying attention to.

Don's just short voiced with the correct verb-age. Here I will help, "Bovine Excrement", their does that help you understand. Anything or anyone that states they can get rid of a time share fast, for a price. Again short course in english, "BS". Pick your sentiment. All the best.

One more time .... no attorney can get anyone out of a legally binding contract, period, unless fraud was involved or unless the resort takes it back.

You stated that you owned at the Manhattan Club in NYC and that you could never reserve time there .... the Manhattan Club is very popular (although fees are very high) and if they took it back it was because they could turn around and resale it easily. All resorts are not the Manhattan Club, but you state that across the board that your socalled attorney can get anyone out of their timeshare contract .... that's an out and out lie.

jayjay,

One question. Are you an attorney experienced in timeshare law?

John B.
Nov 09, 2013

No, I'm not an attorney .... I'm just an individual that's bought and sold 10 timeshares on the resale market in the past and I know a lot about timesharing via having owned and researched all phases for over 13 years (however I know nothing about all the different point systems).

What kind of fraud was in your written contract that your socalled attorney found .... Btw, try 'googling' jock wood and see what you get.

jayjay -- I get all kinds of things when I google jock wood. What did you have in mind? That is not my real name. It's a name I made up. I don't know the basis on which my attorney got me out of my timeshare. I was asked that question by someone else. I just got frustrated with The Manhattan Club's uncooperative management and after a year of trying to deal directly with them, decided to put the matter in legal hands. The Manhattan Club is, however, being charged with fraud through a class action law suit. The issue is The Manhattan Club does not have time available for owners. They are renting the timeshare suites on the open market like a hotel. The owners are pushed to the back of the line. I hope this clarifies why so many owners are frustrated.
