Just got back from Cancun on July 8th and we too got sucked into this, what seemed to be an awesome deal, time-share. After reading some of these reviews, there is no doubt that we for sure have made a big mistake. Totally have missed the 5 days cancellation period and now wondering what next steps I should take. We have already coughed up $4,500 dollars for the time-share and $83 dollars for the "ICE" program, with a outstanding balance of $741 dollars due in 45 days, which will be automatically taken from my credit card.

I for sure will contact my credit card company to revert the $83 dollars and deny any future charges from ICE, since ICE is only an optional program.

I will also be contacting PROFECO and submit a complaint.

Hope to hear back from someone on this post with good news or a success story with a contract cancelation that was over the 5 day grace period.

I guess you have passed your legal rescission period. You can however still send in a rescission letter. They might honor your request.

Your other option is to post your experience all over social media like this one. Sometimes the company will let you rescind if you promise to remove all your posts.

Just do not contact any of these questionable law firms that claim they can "cancel" your timeshare.

Something doesn't smell right . Be careful of a story leading you into a trap . Once they lead you away from the open forum to another site they set their trap. They use the ruse of a charity to gain your confidence and once you take the bait they set the hook and start to demand money for " fees or donations " that have to be paid . This will continue until you stop sending them money. Don't be surprised that somewhere down the road you get contacted by someone claiming they can recover the money you lost to the original scammers .

The scammers are really good at what they do . Once a scam has been exposed and most people learn to avoid them then comes a new twist like this one. I can't say that this is a scam but I would advise everyone to avoid it . Don't go to a website that someone steers you to in the forum . Once you go to a site they can steal your identity or hack into your computer. One tactic is to get you to click onto a link and once you do that they own your computer with all you information .

Once again I can't say for sure that this is a scam but I warn everyone to avoid anything that smells bad and so far this post stinks !!

Latitude21 is bogus!! They do not rent your weeks. I asked for documentation of any weeks rented through their site and they could not or would not provide me that information.

I have tried to speak with Robert Diaz from Latitude21 who I was guaranteed no less than 125% of my maintenance fee and should expect to be 200% from my rentals. He was on vacation, went home early, in a meeting. Never could be reached.

I have the Best weeks available- Super High Platinum and enrolled in Latitude21 best package $1995 and Nothing! Not a single phone call or Inquirey.

If the best units and the best package they have to offer and still no activity - BOGUS!! Is all I can say.

Has anybody sued or just stop paying these guys? If you stop paying what happens?

Texas laws are different than some states. My understanding in Texas is they can do anything but take me to court, which I welcome and if I lose they can't take my house, garnish wages or anything else.

Wow Im surprised at all these bad reviews since at the beginning I was also very skeptical since it took me a year to finally get my 3 weeks rented. The latitude people actually called me to advise me to upgrade my service in order to see some results instead of waiting longer, so I did upgrade my rental service. At the end of the day like they explained to me that there is a lot of competition out there and patience will pay off at the end. I still have 22 weeks left in my contract but I am no longer skeptical since they at least got 3 weeks rented for me. What I would recommend you to do is to actually talk to them to find a solution.

How do I contact you about joining your lawsuit? This is now impacting my credit. These are horrible people with no conscience and the Mexican authorities and government do nothing. I am out more than $15,000. I cannot believe the magnitude of this scam. It's been going on for years!

Im not trying to take part of any sides but it looks like Hellen is taking this too personal. After reviewing previous comments, it is not recommended to get assistance from charity places since it can lead to a trap of someone accessing our personal information. I believe that her particular case is different than mine and in my case dealing with them directly made a big difference. Hellen I recommend you to talk to them and work something out instead of just wasting your time and everyone else with your negativity. From what it seem, instead of trying to help people you are just trying to create a caos for your own personal interest. Im telling you it was as simple as talking to them and working things out.

My husband and I have the exact same story. We entered into contract in November 2016 with Kystal in the exact same manner for the exact same reasons and they verbally contracted with us for the exact same things. Please share with me any steps you have taken to void and cancel the contract. I would be happy to work with you to file a class action lawsuit as well. Any help is MUCH appreciated.

I am interested in participating in any class action lawsuit for fraud on behalf of Krystal, ICE and Latitude 21 Resort. My husband and I have the exact same experience/story as all of the others here. Has anyone stopped payment, walked away and had their credit affected because of that action?
