Krystal is a big Fraud!!

My husband and I as well. I can't believe how long they have all been able to get away with this behavior. Anyone with a success story, or any advice on how to get out of this nightmare, please share.

Who did you talk to? How were you able to talk to them to come to a mutual agreement to cancel the contract without your credit affected? I have tried talking to Krystal and Latitude since January 2017 and have had no success. Would be very happy and thankful if you could share your details so we could follow suit. Thank you.

Please provide any guidance and detail that would help. I have contacted Krystal and Latitude numerous times since January to get out of this fraudulent contract with no success. Telling me what worked for you would be very helpful. Thank you.

I see you warning people of additional scammers on this forum but do you have any solutions to this problem for us? How to cancel the fraudulent contracts and get out of paying extortion to protect our credit scores? That is what everyone is looking for here. Some answers and advice on how to proceed.

I am interested in participating and talking to a lawyer if you have one that is capable of taking on this type of fraudulent and breach of contract case. Please let me know how to get involved.

Please don't shoot the messenger, but there are very likely no "escape routes" from a valid contract into which you freely and voluntarily CHOSE to enter.

Your best (and possibly your only) option might be to simply cease any and all further payments and hope that they won't even bother to file a negative credit report. After all, they already have plenty of your money and so may be content to just keep that money, bid you farewell and just forget about you. In any scenario, the money you've paid to date is gone and not coming back. It may now be time to consider cutting your losses, stopping the financial bleeding and pay them not another penny. You might however consider first consulting with a local licensed attorney to inquire about whatever protective measures (if any) you might be able to implement before just walking away.

You might want to have a conversation (no cost to you to just inquire) with Finn Law Group' located in Largo, Florida. If Finn can't help you after assessing your situation, he'll tell you so bluntly --- there may very well be jurisdictional issues that would preclude him from doing anything at all for you. If Finn thinks you may have a case, it will cost you money to be represented. I'm certainly not peddling the man or his services, but I have met Mike Finn and can at least tell you that he knows and understands the timeshare industry very well and is NO fan of deceitful timeshare developer practices. I am frankly NOT optimistic that he could / would help you, but it would cost you nothing to ask and find out for yourself.

I am genuinely sorry for your plight, but no magic beans or secret elixirs exist which would enable you (or anyone else) to easily "exit" a valid and legally binding contract which you once freely and voluntarily chose to execute. Nonetheless, I sincerely wish you luck.

I do not understand how you could call this personal matter, first We called them and of course they wont help us. They said if you did not cancel within 5 days then there is nothing they could do. Second, if we get together and try to get them in court then we all will win, not only me, and it is not only my idea to take them to court, it is a group of more than 40 families for now, so NO this is not personal, if you do not want to get involve it is ok, maybe you had the chance to get your money back if you did cancel within 5 days, but all of us did not. But you need to investigate more, they have been scamming families for more than 10 years, so this is not Ok, I am sorry we truly believed what they said and offered no expecting a big corporation like this will play this kind of game.

I have absolutely no idea to whom your post is directed or what your "personal matter" reference even means, but if you are interested in pursuing legal action you have now been provided with the specific name and location of a law firm which is very familiar and well experienced with litigation involving timeshare industry fraud and deceit. They may or may not be able (or willing) to help or to represent you, but it would cost you NOT ONE PENNY to at least make the effort to initiate contact and find out for yourself.

Nothing will just happen on its' own by either magic or inaction and "group hand wringing" alone will accomplish absolutely nothing. It's your situation, decision and your call as to whether you want to make the effort to see if you can be helped by legal representation. Good luck.

Has your credit been affected by this?

I have a video tape recording of the Krystal Representatives threatening that I cannot cancel or they will file a lawsuit. I tried to cancel on multiple occasions and was tricked into believing that I cannot cancel. I have everything on video tape. Please let me know if anyone has contacted a lawyer and received good advice. Has anyones credit been affected by this?

I own a couple of vacation clubs in México and believe me there's no getting out or getting your money back no matter what legal actions you take and stop paying is no option if you care about your credit score. I study the market a lot and it is possible to make an income by renting these weeks. Keep in mind that money doesn't just come flying to your door step so put some effort to understand how it works. I hope this saves you time and effort towards trying something that's pointless. If you have any questions as into how to rent them out I would be more than happy to help out.
