Marriott Shadow Ridge property tax

Has anyone that owns at Shadow Ridge noticed the huge increase in 2006/07 property tax? I also own @ Newport Coast Villas and pay 1/3 for property tax. Any reasonable explanations? Thank you for your time

Has anyone had any luck appealing the property tax assessment of a time share? I paid less than the $10,547 assessment and have filed an appeal.

I would be curious the results of your appeal. I called & was told that since there is a record of selling at higher prices - probably Marriott's new owner sales - the probability of getting a reduction was nil.
