The Pines Chalet Units

The Chalets at the Pines are just wonderful! There are only 12 of them so exchange into them through RCI is very limited, most of them are 3 bedroom/3bath, with full size jacuzzi & sauna in each unit. Some have better view than others but they are all tremendously spacious.

Only 2 hours west of Washington DC, year round skiiing grass and snow, this year the Resort area will be celebrating the 400th anniversary of Virginia with lots of events beginning in April.

Lot's of civil war history in the area, great hiking, golf, fishing, wineries, full service Resort with it's own airport. Absolutely beautiful landscape in the breath-taking Shenandoah Mountains.

I highly recommend the 263 diner, great home made turkey and stuffing as well as pot roast. Coleman's at Bryce (ski lodge restaurant) is open year round, good food as well with great views of the mountains and nightly entertainment.
