We were there last June. I am looking for information on any additions made since that time. We stayed in the newest free standing section of rooms, they were working at that time on another section and there was to be another pool directly below it. Has any of that been completed?

No and they blame the mexican government, as they say the gov't was responsible to pay for the new international airport at Rocky Point, but did not. Therefore, Grupo Mayan (Mr. Chavez owner) had to pay and can't put in the pools, promised amenities to Mayan/Regency, Mayan Palace owners were promised four years. ago.

Yet, this unscrupulous group has Mayan Lakes luxury high-price condos available for immediate delivery (sale) for much more money than a timeshare.

Using same hard sell, illegal tactics and representations to push new Bliss Grupo Luxxe products.

Regular Mayan, and even Grand Mayan owners now are on back burner for any of the promised amenities or additions to resort.

All this group is out for is to sell the next more expensive product by any means possible at reg. owner's expense.

Is the airport complete and if so what airline flys there?

Who has stayed here? What is your review? Has the work above been completed? Has anyone tried to rent or sell their timeshare? Thanks! Sue

I stayed at the Mayan last May and they have a pond in front of the ocean view rooms that breeds mosquitos by the thousands and they get in the rooms. You have to use a dry powder bug spray to kill them by the thousands!!! They should treat the pond because it is a breeding ground for bugs.
