Does anyone have any experience with the time share unit views- interior and exterior view? What you see and what the difference is?

Just returned (Nov. 17-24) and the resort / amenities were spectacular. We own 2 weeks / 2B/2B Ocean Exterior View (2 Balconies). Fabulous Resort!
Best Marriott out there b/c it is a self contained resort with Restaurants, Casino, and a large staff.
Only 2 buildings open now for timeshare and we had the top (3rd) floor which overlooked the south pool and we could see the the beach, ocean, mountains between and over the buildings across the way. Expected a more open view, but we got over it. The same building / 1st floor would be considered 'garden view' b/c you would only see the pool. Expected that the whole building would have been facing the ocean unobstructed and just not right on the beach.
No elevators in the villas, but staff will carry your luggage up/down on check in/out.

I wrote Eric, but until he responds: 1. How many can actually sleep in the 2br unit? 6 or 8? 2. I know it has a a king and queen size bed and a sofa, but is it a sleep sofa and are there one or two? 3. Are there off-lodgings food shopping and restaurants close by? 4. Is a car necessary and/or are cabs reasonable and accessible? 5. Are personal belongings, money or jewelry and personal i.d. securable? Are there room safes and are they accessible by personnel?

1) The 2br units sleep 8. They have 1 king bed, 2 queens and 1 pullout sofa. 2) See above :-) 3) Restaurants, yes (at least 4 within walking distance), food shopping is in Basterre (although a grocery store just down the street is being built as we speak) 4) Cabs are very accessible. Hertz has a rental facility onsite at the resort. 5) Yes, the room has a safe. No idea if they are accessible by personnel. You get to set your own combination.
