Has anyone stayed in a 1BR? During December?
Is the quality the same as a 2 BR? How is the weather/access to the resort in winter? We Would you fly into LA and then drive to resort Is there a closer airport? Anyone with info on winter activities and ease of doing a day trip to LA please respond. thanks!

We have a fixed week (52) in a 1 BR with a full view of the lake. Usually stay on the 3rd floor... best view, and no one above you.
Winter can hit at any time, but roads are usually clear this time of year... real winter in these mountains doesn't occur until Jan - Mar or April.
Good access via many roads. Closer airport than LAX is Ontario. Great resort. We own two weeks, and go in both summer and winter.

Snow skiing and more always depends on the snow for the more!! The day trip into LA would be easy to get to once out on the Interstate. Do you have a place to stay?Is the quality the same as a 2 BR? It's great during the winter or summer! Ten years ago, a neighbor of ours suggested we try going to Lagonita Lodge for Christmas. Best vacation ever. We have been going to Lagonita Lodge every winter and summer since for the past 10 years. It's not crowded. Has a small town feel to it, yet it still has every thing you would ever need.
