Improvements to Timeshare units
We are owners at Barclay Towers, but have not stayed there for 2 years. We visited in July of 2007 and were pleased with the renovations. New ceramic tile floors were installed in the hall, bathroom and kitchen and new carpet throughout. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous.

The timeshare office did indeed rent out this owner's unit - this owner was 7 months delinquent in payment of maintenance fees. As a delinquent owner cannot occupy his unit, the office was attempting to collect funds that would apply to this owner's outstanding and extremely delinquent account. Unknown to the office, the owner went to the collection attorney's office and paid the maintenance fee the Friday afternoon prior to Saturday check in, and the timeshare office was not informed of that payment. The owner's unit had been rented - the owner was put into a timeshare unit next door, the renters were relcoated and the owner had occupany of her unit from Monday afternoon until checkout the follwing Saturday. This owner has never paid a maintnenace fee without a collection attorney's intervention, which means 1/3 of her fee does not go to the Homeowner's Association but rather to the ayttorney who had to make her pay. If this owner spent half as much time attempting to pay her fee responsibly and in a timely mannner as she has being indignant over the fact that this office was trying to recoup some funds on her behlaf to apply to her ALWAYS EXTREMELY DELINQUENT accout, she would save herself and her Association money. As it is, her Assocaition only receives 2/3's of her maintenance fee each year since the office and our collection attorney has to sue her to get her to pay.
