Gym/Fitness Center

Is there a place to work out at this resort. Some web sites say there is no fitness center/gym - others state there is. If so - is there a charge for guests and how are the facilities?

HDM does have a gym. It is a decent size and is free to guests. You may then use the spa if you work out at the gym. The jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and shower area is available for free. The only thin you pay extra for is massages, facials, beauty salon, etc. The gym is equipped with several treadmills, cycling machines, weights, and exercise room. There were very few people taking advantage of it while I was there (sep 1-8), so you don't have to wait for a machine. The shower area has a great Swedish shower that is very relaxing after a good workout. Hope this helps. Ed
