Villa del Arco is about 10-15 minute walk to town. Taxi ride costs about $7, or local bus (which stops right outside gate of resort) costs about $1. When we were there last week, most people were doing the taxi thing, especially coming home from town at night.

I usually use the bus in the morning or afternoon and the taxi's at night as well. The buses are not limos but they get you there and it's kinda fun riding with the locals.
